A 35M MOTOR YACHT SEARCHING FOR A TEMP CHEF (AUSTRALIAN FLAGGED/PRIVATE)
A qualified TEMP Head Chef for 35m motor yacht, (Private). Australian owners. The yacht is going to be based for 3-4 months in the Whitsunday Islands.
The head chef is required to have at least 1-2 years as a Head chef on a similar or larger size yacht or larger. Have strong skills in provisioning, menu planning. Be clean and tidy, well organised in the Galley at all times. Have an outgoing and flexible personality, be able to work in a small team environment all times. Must be good with young children. Must be Australian/New Zealander and able to work in Australia. Preference is given to those that are living in the Whitsunday Islands. The candidate can either live on board or if they are based in the Whitsunday island and have a place ashore they can go home on their days off. The Yacht will be based out of the Coral Coast Marina.
NOTE: (If a male chef you will be required to share a cabin with a female stewardess).
STCW95, tender license and be able to drive a tender properly in a bonus. At least 1-2 years Experience in the industry is required. Must be able to cook good “High standard food” – Asian/Australian cuisine, sea food, if you have a European background of food that would be a bonus. The family enjoys light, healthy, high quality and well presented meals.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: TEMP WILL be required from Late May, June, July, August 2021
SALARY:$6000.00- $7000.00AUD PER month (yacht can pay a daily rate) taxed + Super + Holiday. Salary is pending on experience. Salary to be discussed in the interview
