A COUPLE’S ROLE A BOSUN & STEWARDESS REQUIRED FOR A 55M MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE & AUSTRALIAN FLAGGED)

BOSUN ROLE.

A 55M motor yacht is currently searching for a FIRST OFFICER to join the crew of 12. The successful candidate will be required to have at least 2+ years as a Chief Officer holding the appropriate tickets. Be highly motivated and enthusiastic First officer.  The yacht is based in Sydney so this would suit someone that lives in Sydney (You can live a shore or onboard).

The candidate will need to be between the ages of mid 20’s to 30’s years of age. Must show longevity in previous yacht jobs.  Must have a strong eye to detail within the exterior, Presentable and understands superyacht hospitality. Need to be clean and tidy, responsible, and well always presented; Must be a fit positive person with a hard-working attitude!! THIS IS A NON-SMOKING YACHT!!!   The candidate needs to be a great team player.  Professional attitude and willingness to learn.

• Ideally Australian or New Zealander – no visa holders due to limited employment duration.
• Deck Department consists of Chief Officer, Bosun, 2 x Deckhands, Temp Deckhands.
• The chief officer will need the skills and experience to lead the deck team.

BOSUN QUALIFICATIONS:

STCW 95 Certificate, AMSA or ENG1 Medical certificate. OOW, Yacht Masters or Australian commercial ticket (Class 5 or similar) qualification.

Must have clean driver’s licence and can confidently drive in Sydney. Currently located in Australia. Exceptional eye for detail. Enjoys being hands on.  Happy to assist across departments when required. Tender or boat driving experience.  Looking to expand on deck skills and knowledge.

STEWARDESS ROLE:

A 55M motor yacht is currently searching for a STEWARDESS to join the crew of 12. The successful candidate will be required to have at least 1+ years as a stewardess and be able work closely with the other stewardesses. Need to have great management and organisational skills within the interior team.

Strong leadership skills when working within the interior crew, will be required to work closely with the owners and their guests so need to have a calm and caring demeanour, strong table service skills. Be highly motivated and enthusiastic person.

The yacht is based in Sydney so this would suit someone that lives in Sydney (You can live a shore or onboard).

Benefits: standard medical insurance, working days with 2 days off per week; 4 WEEKS annual leave a year.

CRUISING ITINERARY:
Sydney based with a chance of the yacht heading to the Whitsunday islands
START DATE:  immediate start

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:  full time:
SALARY: AUD BOSUN- $90,000AUD per year- Depending on Experience – Includes AUD Salary + Superannuation, 4 weeks leave, , medical cover etc.

 SALARY: AUD STEWARDES $70,000AUD per year – Depending on Experience – Includes AUD Salary + Superannuation, 4 weeks leave, , medical cover etc.
