WORK INFORMATION:

An 80FT Sailing yacht (Kanter) private is currently searching for a Cook/Chef to join their crew of 4. The yacht is currently located in Fiji and will be travelling to New Zealand for the summer.

You will be cooking for two lovely owners that love to sail and love adventure and love their beautiful yacht. Plus, will be cooking for the crew.

The candidate must have strong sailing skills and long-distance cruising or passage making (Small boats are okay).  The yacht will cover flights to yacht. Advantage if you cook a variety of cuisines.

The yacht comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

The benefits the yacht provides are as follows; Medical insurance, one month holiday leave and an economy flight home a year. Must be prepared to commit to the yacht for 6 -12 months. Looking for someone that is in their Mid-40’s up to 60’s

QUALIFICATIONS:

STCW95, ENG1 Medical, Strong Watch-keeping Skills and Strong sailing skills is a must.

SALARY: $4500USD – $5000USD. (Pending on persons experience)

AN CAPTAIN/ENGINEER POSITION FOR A 80FT (Kanter) SAILING YACHT (PRIVATE YACHT) FOREIGN FLAGGED

WORK INFORMATION:

An 80FT Sailing yacht (Kanter) private is currently searching for an CAPTAIN/ENGINEER to join their crew of 4. The yacht is currently located in Fiji and will be travelling to New Zealand for the summer.

You will oversee the engine room and will assist with watches. The candidate must have strong sailing skills and long-distance cruising or passage making (Small boats are okay).

The yacht is built with an aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak over aluminium decks. Powered by 1 x diesel Perkins Sabre (M265TI) 265hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots. Her water tanks store around 1,800 Litres of fresh water.

The yacht comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
