A 93m motor cruiser is currently looking for female and male cruise attendants to join the crew of 38. Previous experience aboard is preferable but not essential.  Crew must be Australian or be able to work legally within Australia

WORK INFORMATION

A 93m motor cruiser is currently looking for female and male cruise attendants to join the crew of up to 45. Previous experience aboard is preferable but not essential.  Crew must be Australian or be able to work legally within Australia.  You should have at least 2 years hospitality experience – F&B experience and or/ bar experience as well as Interior detailing experience is preferable, as housekeeping is a large part of the cruise attendant’s job. Must be strong in carrying 3x plates.

Vessel will cover all crew flights required from any major home port within Australia to join and depart vessels.

You will be required to work across all three ships. Candidates all over Australia accepted.

Qualifications:

RSA, First Aid Certificate, CPR, STCW95-Certificate of Safety Training – CoST (AMSA endorsed),

AMSA medical certificate, Online component for Passenger Ship Training (Crowd Control and Crisis Management), certificate issued after completion of practical element. Australian Seafarers Service Book (ASSB), Marine Safety Identification Card (MSIC), Passport (with minimal 6 months validation), Yellow Fever vaccination (prior to international voyages) or have completed a Crew Pacific Steward/ess/Deckhand course.

  • Being fully Covid vaccinated is mandatory.

ITINERARY:

  • Kimberley’s, Whitsunday islands, Tasmania, the vessel will be traveling to Japan, Singapore, Africa & New Zealand in 2024.

START DATE:  31st January/15th February/27th February 2025

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:  Permanent Casual – 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off.

SALARY:  Cruise attendants are employed on a casual rate only starting at $267.30 per day AUD, ($1871.10 gross AUD per 7 days)  (Approximately $61,479 AUD per year GROSS)
